“I can barely sit down good,” I frowned as I rode in the passenger seat of Britain’s fresh ass Bugatti.
The car was beautiful and fast as hell. I felt like that bitch riding shotgun in such an expensive car, and next to such a fine ass nigga. I smiled as I thought about it, bobbing my head to “My Flag” by The Game.
“That didn’t stop your ass from spending my money and walking to every damn store in the mall, shorty,” Britain turned the music down a little, smiling at me.
“It was stuff I really needed, that’s why,” I grinned.
He’d just taken me shopping, and I was up in all the high-end stores picking out shit I’d seen but couldn’t buy before. I wasn’t one of those bitches who played shy and pretended like I didn’t want to spend a nigga’s money. I liked nice things but couldn’t afford them, so if a nigga I’m fucking offers to buy it for me, then why not? It’s not like I was using him, because I wasn’t, I really liked Britain. I liked him probably more than I actually should have. But niggas like him enjoyed spending money on their women, so who was I to stop him? Especially when I knew he had more than enough for me to get a Louis bag or two.
“You ain’t need none of the shit you got. You only wanted it.”
“Very true, but still, I can barely sit because my bottom half is sore as fuck.”
“You shouldn’t be surprised; you know how I get in the bedroom, shorty.”
“I do know, and it’s worth it.” I rubbed his hand, which sat on the gear shift.
I loved the way his big, strong hands looked. The tattoos on his wrist accompanied by the iced out watch, was so sexy to me. Just from his hands, you could tell he was a boss.
“I’m looking to get you up out of there. My dad’s assistant said she found a couple of places that she wants us to look at,” he said once he pulled in front of my apartment building.
“Britain, I’m fine here, I don’t need to move.” I unbuckled my seat belt. I didn’t mind him buying me things at the mall, but a place to live was too much, I felt. I hadn’t even agreed to being his girlfriend yet.
“You were fine before you became my girl, Goldie. Now, I can’t have you mingling with the regulars.”
“The regulars?” I chuckled and sucked my teeth.
“You really don’t know who I am, huh? Or my family.”
“I do know.”
“You know but you don’t understand. We’re not corner boys, we’re not petty criminals—shit, we’re not even like Gang. There are certain people we can’t socialize with, and that goes the same for anybody we befriend or get close to. And now that you’re my girl, people will treat you differently. It sounds like some bullshit, but I put that on everything. You will notice girls are nicer to you, in hopes of getting close to us, and niggas too.
